Kami ni anak tiri UiTM ke?

Aku dah banyak sangat panas hati dengan pentadbiran UiTM ni. Banyak sangat benda yang menyakitkan hati. Banyak sangat benda yang mengarut yang dibuat kepada budak pre law ni especially batch aku. Pendek kata, layanan yang kurang memuaskan dari beberapa sudut. Aku tak kata UiTM ni haprak sangat sebab biasalah, tiap-tiap organisasi ada kelemahan dan kelebihan tersendiri.

Bermula dengan pointer untuk sambung ke ijazah. Pada awalnya pointer minima adalah 2.00. Tetapi tiba-tiba dasar berubah dengan pointer minima menjadi 3.00. Dan kami diberitahu semasa kami berada dalam final semestar!!! Memang tidak patut. Mujur dasar baru ini hanya retorik semata-mata. Kalau tidak ramailah batch aku yang melopong selepas habis program asasi ini. Alhamdulillah. Amat-amat bersyukur.

Kemudian mengenai keputusan peperiksaan. Menurut pengumuman yang dibuat, result kami akan keluar lebih awal daripada budak degree dan diploma. Apa yang menyakitkan hati result kami keluar lewat daripada budak degree dan diploma! Aku pun tidak terbilang beberapa hari kelewatan itu. Semua ini buatkan kami ternanti-nanti.Kita tahukan bahawa penantian itu satu penyeksaan.....hahaha

Kemudian mengenai surat tawaran. Sampai sekarang surat tawaran belum tiba padahal hari pendftaran adalah 3.7 ini!
Kami terpaksa melihat surat tawaran di internet sebagai langkah berjaga-jaga bimbang surat tawaran tidak sampai terus ke rumah. Cuba bayangkan orang kampung yang tidak mempunyai kemudahan internet. Mereka terpaksa pergi ke bandar semata-mata untuk melihat surat tersebut. Dimaklumkan juga ada senior yang menerima surat tawaran selepas mendaftar!! Dahsyat kan...

Kepada rakan-rakan yang repeat, teruskan perjuangan dan jangan putus asa. Masa bukan satu halangan untuk menuntut ilmu. Aku masih ternanti-nanti azab yang akan menanti kami selepas mendaftar ini. Tak sabar rasanya!! Mari sini azab dan penderitaan, kita lawan cara anak jantan, 1 by 1, face to face. IF YOU WANT SOME COME GET SOME!!

"miskinlah aku semester ni!!"

Semalam aku merayap dengan kawan-kawan sekolah. Destinasi sudah semestinya Lumut, kawasan laut yang cukup indah dengan landskap-landskap yang unik. Macam-macam yang kami bualkan dari kenangan lama di sekolah, kehidupan sekarang sehinggalah ke situasi politik negeri "yeop" ni.

Bila berbual dengan mereka kadang kala rasa terkilan menyapa hati. Al-maklumlah, diorang semua belajar dalam bidang yang berasaskan sains. Cuma aku aje yang "terpesong" ke pengajian undang-undang ni. Padahal dulu kami semua dalam kelas sains stream.....

Mengapa aku ditakdirkan untuk masuk kelas sains stream di sekolah sedangkan akhirnya aku "terjebak" dengan undang-undang ni? Hanya masa yang menentukan segalanya dan aku tidak sabar rasanya untuk menunggu saat di mana segala persoalan aku ni terjawab secara total...hehe

Sempat jugak kami singgah makan nasi beriani di Lumut tu (aku memang mengidam pun). Bagai orang mengantuk disorongkan bantal, aku pun makan dengan penuh kenikmatan:) Kemudian kami singgah di Taman Monyet tapi malangnya 2 ekor je yang kami nampak. Mungkin monyet lain sedang sembahyang zohor kot sebab waktu tu waktu zohor baru sahaja masuk. Haha...Destinasi berikutnya adalah Telok Batik. Kami hanya memerhati gelagat orang-orang yang tengah seronok mandi laut. Niat di hati memang nak terjun sekali tapi baju tak bawak pulak! Takkan nak bulat-bulat je turun laut tu...haha

Berbalik kepada perkembangan diriku, sedang aku hendak mengisi borang online PTPTN, abahku mengatakan tidak perlu rasanya untuk aku memohon PTPTN. Katanya dia masih lagi mampu untuk menanggung perbelanjaan aku di UiTM. Dari satu sudut memang betul kerana tidak perlulah aku untuk membayar hutang nanti. Tapi dari sudut yang lain......................

Disturbed is a rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The group was formed in 1996 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve “Fuzz” Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired singer David Draiman in Chicago, Illinois. They have sold over 10 million albums worldwide, and released three consecutive #1 debuts. Originally classified as a nu metal band, Disturbed is now regarded by some music critics as hard rock or heavy metal, although others now regard them as alternative metal. However, the band’s genre is still being debated. When asked about die-hard metal fans not finding Disturbed heavy enough, frontman David Draiman stated:

“We probably have too much melody going on or we’re not quite as turbulent or caustic. While I really love that type of music, it’s not what we try to do. If we have to place things in context, we’re more hard rock than heavy metal these days.”

EDUCATION LOAN..Help me please

Sekarang masa untuk memikirkan pinjaman terbaik yag boleh diperolehi untuk membiayai pengajian undang-undang aku. Terdapat beberapa pilihan untuk aku pertimbangkan:

1.PTPTN- Pinjaman yang biasa dibuat oleh student. Tapi caj yang dikenakan agak mahal. Khabar baik ialah kerajaan sedang mengkaji cajnya untuk meringankan beban rakyat memandangkan harga minyak yang melambung naik baru-baru ini. Mungkin ada sinar harapan di sini.

2.Pinjaman Yayasan Perak- Khabar buruk ialah tarikh pijaman sudah pun ditutup. Tidak tahulah jika aku silap dengar dari
kawan-kawan.

3. CIMB Education Loan- Aku sudah check di internet yang CIMB Bank ada menawarkan pinjaman pendidikan. Tapi segala maklumat yang tertulis di web site tersebut masih samar. Berapa caj? Berapa limit pinjaman? Berapa tahun pembayaran semula?

4.Personal Loan- Ini mama aku yang cadangkan jika aku tak nak ambil pinjaman PTPTN. Semua bank ada menawarkan perkhidmatan personal loan ini. Tapi adakah ia lebih menguntungkan aku daripada PTPTN?

Ada kawan-kawan yang berhasrat untuk meminjam dari MARA. Tapi mengikut pengetahuan yang aku ada, pinjaman MARA hanya diberikan untuk pelajar IPTS sahaja. Hanya di peringkat masters sahaja MARA menawarkan pinjaman untuk pelajar IPTA. Betulkan jika aku silap.

Jadi yang mana berkenan di hati? Senang cerita pinjam PTPTN bukan? Aku dalam dilemma. Anyone can helpme?

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE((DOWNLOAD))

Bullet for My Valentine is a band from Bridgend, Wales in the United Kingdom. They name their Influences as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Megadeth and Machine Head among others. Formed in 1998 under the name “Jeff Killed John”, they originally played Metallica and Nirvana covers. They initially struggled to find success, and tensions arose when other Welsh bands such as Lostprophets and Funeral for a Friend were getting noticed and became more popular. When it came to the band recording a demo, things didn’t go as well as planned and the original bass player, Nik Crandle, quit the band a week before they were due to record. The band couldn’t get it together to record a demo, and subsequently split up. But despite this, they did get back together and they found a new bassist in the shape of Jason James (formerly of NuKe). They changed their name from “Jeff Killed John” first to “Opportunity in Chicago”, then to the now familar “Bullet for My Valentine”. The band later signed a deal with Sony Records via Visible Noise in October 2004.

DAVID VILLA

Currently playing for La Liga footballing giants Valencia, David Villa Sanchez was born in Spain on 3rd December 1981. His football career nearly ended before it was even properly started when at the tender age of four years old David Villa broke his femur which meant he was left with a limp. Despite this horrific injury which could have prevented him from ever playing football, Villa made a full recovery. 

David Villa made his first professional debut for Sporting de Gijon during the 2000-01 and since that date he has never looked back. By the next season Villa was a firm fixture in the first team and his prolific scoring ability was rewarded with a high profile move to La Liga team Real Zaragoza in the summer of 2003. Villa was an integral member of the team and his natural proficiency for scoring goals flourished earning Zaragoza a Copa del Rey victory. In fact it was Villa who netted the winning goal against Real Madrid in the final. 

His promising and strong performances earned him a call up to the Spanish national side and in the summer of 2005 Villa joined Valencia for the sum of £8.2 million. In his first season he proved that the club had made the right decision in signing him when he scored 25 goals and was the second highest goal scorer in La Liga closely losing out on the top spot to Samuel Eto'o ofBarcelona. 

His sparkling form continued into the 2006-07 season as he formed a lethal partnership with former Liverpool and Real Madrid forward Fernando Morientes. This partnership was so successful that Villa and Morientes ousted fan's favourites Fernando Torres and Raul from the forward positions in the Spanish national side. 

David Villa has secured a firm place in the Spanish national team and was included in the squad that travelled to the 2006 FIFA World Cup in France.

HAJJ

The Hajj (Arabic: حج‎, transliteration: Ḥaǧǧ) is a pilgrimage to Mecca. It is the largest annual pilgrimage in the world. It is the fifth pillar of Islam, an obligation that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do so. It is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people, and their submission to God (Arabic:Allah). The pilgrimage occurs from the 10th to the 15th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar. Because the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar, the event cannot be exactly matched to the Gregorian calendar, whose (solar) year is eleven days longer. In 2007, the Hajj took place from December 17 to December 21. The next one will begin in the first week of December 2008.

The Hajj is associated with the life of Muhammad, but the ritual of pilgrimage to Mecca predates Islam, and is considered by Muslims to stretch back to the time of Abraham andIshmael. Pilgrims join processions of hundreds of thousands of people, who simultaneously converge on Mecca for the week of the Hajj, and perform a series of rituals. As part of the Hajj, each person walks counter-clockwise seven times about the Kaaba, the cubical building which acts as the Muslim direction of prayer (qibla); runs back and forth between the hills ofAl-Safa and Al-Marwah; drinks from the Zamzam Well; goes to the plains of Mount Arafat to stand in vigil; and throws stones in a ritualStoning of the Devil. The pilgrims then shave their heads, perform an animal sacrifice, and celebrate the four day global festival of Eid al-Adha.

As of 2007, an estimated two million pilgrims participated in this annual pilgrimage.Crowd-control techniques have become critical, and because of the large numbers of people, many of the rituals have become more stylized. It is not necessary to kiss the Black Stone, but merely to point at it on each circuit around the Kaaba. Throwing pebbles was done at large pillars, which for safety reasons were in 2004 changed to long walls with catch basins below to catch the stones. The slaughter of an animal can be done either personally, or by appointing someone else to do it, and so forth.But even with the crowd control techniques, there are still many incidents during the Hajj, as pilgrims are trampled in a crush, or ramps collapse under the weight of the many visitors, causing hundreds of deaths. 

Pilgrims can also go to Mecca to perform the rituals at other times of the year. This is sometimes called the "lesser pilgrimage", or Umrah. However, even if they perform the Umrah, they are still obligated to perform the Hajj at some other point in their lifetimes.

HISTORY

The Hajj is based on a pilgrimage that was ancient even in the time of Muhammad in the 7th Century. According to Hadith (supplemental writings to the Koran), elements of the Hajj trace back to the time ofAbraham, around 2000 BC. The belief is that the Prophet Abraham was ordered by God (Allah) to leave his concubine Hagar and his infant son Ismael alone in the desert. While he was gone, the child became thirsty, Hagar ran back and forth seven times searching for water for her son. The baby cried hit the ground with his foot (some versions of the story say that an angel scraped his foot or the tip of his wing along the ground), and water miraculously sprang forth. This source of water is today called the Well of Zamzam.

Each year tribes from all around the Arabian peninsula would converge on Mecca, as part of the pilgrimage. The exact faith of the tribes was not important at that time, and Christian Arabs were as likely to make the pilgrimage as the pagans.Muslim historians refer to the time before Muhammad as al-Jahiliyah, the "Days of Ignorance", during which the Kaaba contained hundreds of idols representing totems of each of the tribes of the Arabian peninsula. The idols represented multiple faiths, from pagan gods like Hubal, al-Lat, Uzza andManat, to symbols of Jesus and Mary.

Muhammad was known to regularly perform the Umrah, even before he began receiving revelations.Historically, Muslims would gather at various meeting points in other great cities, and then proceed en masse towards Mecca, in groups that could comprise tens of thousands of pilgrims. Two of the most famous meeting points were in Cairo and Damascus. In Cairo, the Sultan would stand atop a platform of the famous gate Bab Zuwayla, to officially watch the beginning of the annual pilgrimage.

In 632 AD, when Muhammad led his followers from Medina to Mecca, it was the first Hajj to be performed by Muslims alone, and the only Hajj ever performed by Muhammad. He cleansed the idols from the Kaaba, and re-ordained it as the house of God. It was from this point that the Hajj became one of the Five Pillars of Islam.

"DAYBREAK"

Beza kuantiti bagi setiap ringgit... Azhan Sharom, 23, yang ditemui di Jalan Batu Buruk, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu menunjukkan botol berisi minyak bagi setiap ringgit yang dibelanjakan. Kuantiti botol kiri berdasarkan harga lama manakala yang kanan pula jika mengikut harga baru. (Ihsan mStar)

ISI MINYAK CEPAT!!!

Malam ni malam yang amat-amat penat. Baru je aku lepas beratur panjang untuk isi minyak kereta! Penat sebab bukan 1 kereta tapi 2 kereta yang aku kene isi! Terpaksalah berulang alik dari rumah ke petrol stesyen.Semestinya kereta mama n abah....Terpaksa beratur kereta panjang di malam hari di kala orang lain tengok TV di rumah amat-amat memeritkan. Tapi bersyukur jugak aku bile tengok ada di kalangan orang yang nak isi minyak terpaksa menolak kereta mereka kerana kehabisan petrol. Lagila kesian tapi apakan daya. Terpikir jugak kalau Tanah Melayu ni dilanda perang saudara ke, situasi yang sama pasti berlaku macam malam ni. 3 petrol stesen yang berdekatan dengan rumah aku sudah kehabisan bekalan petrol diasak dek orang ramai yang mengambil kesempatan sebelom harga petrol naik besok. Terfikir sejenak jugak aku semasa mengisi minyak tadi. Kelihatan majoriti yang menaiki kenderaan mewah(pelbagai jenis mercedes,BMW), SUV(harrier,rexton,CRV, sorento), MPV(estima,serena,innova) dari kalangan bukan bumiputra ( ca ya nun alif) sementara yang melayu ni semua kereta buatan tempatan sahaja. Hinanya melayu di bumi sendiri. Ada 2 kemungkinan je samada melayu amat-amat patriotik ataupun tidak mampu untuk memiliki kereta-kereta bertaraf "mewah". Kasihan bangsaku...........

MALAYSIA or TANAH MELAYU?

"Takkan Melayu hilang di dunia", satu ungkapan yang sinonim dengan dunia bangsa Melayu. Ayat keramat yang diungkapkan oleh seorang pahlawan ulung  untuk menggambarkan nasib Melayu pada masa akan datang. Namun ramalannya meleset sama sekali. Ayat keramatnya itu menjadi kurang relevan semenjak tanah ini dijajah oleh pelbagai kuasa rakus dari pelbagai pelusuk benua. Melayu pernah dipijak oleh Portugis, pernah "mencium punggung" British, pernah disula oleh Jepun dan macam-macam lagi peristiwa yang menjahanamkan maruah bangsa Melayu. Begitu juga dengan pemilihan nama Malaysia. Apa signifikannya nama tersebut? Apa maksudnya? Apa tujuannnya? Kenapa tidak ditetapkan sahaja nama negara ini sebagai TANAH MELAYU? Bukankan ini memang tanah melayu? Tidak berhakkah kita atas tanah ini? Kita sendiri kurang pasti kenapa nama ini dipilih. Mungkin pemimpin terdahulu sudah dapat mengagak bahawa bangsa ini akan tewas dalam survival globalisasi dalam negara mereka sendiri, justeru mereka tidak mengguna pakai nama TANAH MELAYU. Bimbang nanti nama ini akan diperlekeh, dihina dan dicerca oleh bangsa-bangsa yang lebih advanced. Tetapi untuk mengelakkan amukan dari kaum ini mereka menempelkan perkataan "Malay" pada nama negara. Baru sejuk hati bangsa Melayu sambil kembang hidung mereka kemegahan. Namun begitu realiti tidak memihak kepada bangsa ini. Mereka lembap dan jahil dalam ekonomi sehinggakan "orang lain" yang menguasai ekonomi di tanah air mereka. Begitu juga dengan kuasa politik mereka yang semakin hari semakin pudar ditelan bangsa lain. Mereka tidak matang dalam berpolitik dan sanggup putus saudara demi ideologi masing-masing walaupun mereka tahu bahawa persaudaraan Islam melebihi ideologi-ideologi haprak mereka. Apa hasilnya atau kesimpulannya dari semua kes ini? Kata Amirul Syafiq Mahadi, "Takkan Melayu hilang di dunia, tetapi Melayu akan hidup dengan penuh kehinaan sebagai bangsa yang menjadi kuli di tanah tumpah darah mereka sendiri". Kembalilah kepada agama Allah wahai bangsaku. Jangan jadikan diri anda bangsa yang busuk dan bangsat! Melayu semakin melayu.....
